How long should my water heater last?

A quality water heater should last 20 to 25 years. You can compare that to a low-end heater, which will last about eight to 10 years. It’s almost always worthwhile to spend a few more dollars and get double the life.

Can a tankless water heater provide enough hot water for a three or four bedroom house?

Yes. Tankless water heaters provide the same amount of water as standard water heaters. The only difference is they don’t turn on and off all day to keep the water hot, so they save energy and lower utility bills. When people have bad experiences with tankless heaters, it’s almost always because the products were of poor quality. We only provide the highest quality heaters, like those made by Noritz.

With a tankless water heater, is there a delay in getting hot water from the tap?
