Q: How soon can you come to my house and provide an estimate?
A: Generally, we can be at your house within 48 hours of your initial call.
Q: What information can I expect from your proposal?
A: We’ll provide you with a comprehensive proposal package that contains linear footage and downspout details, warranty information, a color chart, all our license and insurance information, and pricing and scheduling details.
Q: What kind of gutters do you install?
A: We install all kinds of gutters, but we specialize in seamless extruded gutters made out of aluminum, steel and copper. All those gutters are available in a variety of colors.
Q: How long will it take to install my gutters?
A: We can complete most installations in one day, but some larger homes take two days. We’ve had some projects take a week to finish, but that’s rare.

A: We’re usually able to accommodate a new installation within one week, but sometimes it takes two weeks.

If you want to install new gutters on your home, consider the benefits of a seamless gutter system. Seamless gutters have become increasingly popular with homeowners in recent years, mostly because they can be customized to fit any roof line and are specifically designed to prevent leaks. “Gutters that have seams and joints expand and contract with changes in the weather, which can create leaks that cause a lot of damage,” explains Omar Calderon, owner of Gutter Pros in San Jose. “Also, they only come in sections of 30 feet or less, so if your house has a section that exceeds 30 feet—and most do—that can be a problem. With seamless gutters, a contractor can actually fabricate extra pieces on the spot that fit without any joints.”
Another advantage of seamless gutter systems is their ability to reduce noise created by storms. “When you hear a dripping noise from your downspouts, it’s usually because they’re the old, square-style models,” says Mr. Calderon. “Seamless gutters have round downspouts that are angled to provide a smoother flow, which creates less noise. They’re also sloped, so debris travels through them better and is less likely to get stuck, which makes maintenance much faster and easier.”
If longevity is an important characteristic you look for in a gutter system, Mr. Calderon recommends aluminum, but he warns that even though aluminum lasts the longest, it can also be easily damaged because it’s so thin. “Aluminum doesn’t deteriorate, so it will last a lifetime, but you’re probably going to have to replace a section or two due to physical damage,” he says. “If you want a system with more strength, I recommend stainless steel gutters. The products being made today are designed to last up to 40 years, whereas old galvanized steel gutters would only last 25.”
