A: Verified Metropolitan Van & Storage, Inc. Customer, 1 of 380
"They were good. The only little issue that I had was related to my grand piano. That probably wouldn't even apply to most customers if they didn't have a grand piano. One of the reasons I went with Metro is because I didn't want to go with the other company I was considering, because they said they would have to have me pay for them to bring in someone extra to do the piano move separately. Meaning, they would have still just used a piano person to come in with a piano truck and charged me the extra cost for that. I liked that Metro said they would have movers with grand piano experience already on the team. The worker who eventually came out to help with the piano did jump right to it and did a really good job. I can't remember his name but he was not on the original team. I think he might have been on the administrative side of the company or a higher up supervisor, not just another mover. He was very good and I was very happy with him. Now, when we got to San Jose, the team lead there who said he was the expert for the piano made a mistake that the other guys on the team caught. So, ultimately, of the original team who came out to do the load in Elk Grove and the unloading in San Jose, nobody had that needed expertise for the grand piano." -Dorothy R.
